Vegan Sugar is a small Canadian family owned business and was created out of the love for our children and out of the love of baking. The initial goal was to make delicious treats that were allergy friendly so our food-allergic kids did not have to miss out. We soon realized that there were many others our treats could serve and thus Vegan Sugar was born. We strive to create the tastiest vegan, gluten-free, and peanut free desserts you'll ever try.
"Hi, my name is Ahlem and I am the head baker and Co-founder of Vegan Sugar! Like a lot of peoples journey to veganism, mine started with health. Not my health but the health of my children. As the mom of kids with digestive issues and food-related allergies, I found the solution to their health in the food that they eat. With this newfound health came some new challenges. It was hard to find gluten-free, peanut-free, tasty vegan treats that my kids would enjoy for birthdays, parties, and everyday rewards. Being a baker for over 12 years I decided to make my own! Thus Vegan Sugar was born. From Vegan cookies, dessert sandwiches, bars, cakes, and so much more I found the solution for tasty treats in my kitchen and now I want to share it with the world."
